ABOUT MARTIN SHERRELL

A brief insight into my career...

Nationality: Australian Citizen / UK Citizen

Martin is a born and bred Australian who has had a passion for design from an early age. Having his still life illustrations published in school magazines and displayed in galleries at age 11. Marty was always found with a pencil in-hand, doodling during classes and homing his skills to consistantly out-better himself.

Martin got involved in the I.T. industry while in high school where he teamed up with a friend to establish a company called Beyond Vision who offered virtual hosting from America to the Australian market. Being so young... (in other words too busy having a good time) the company closed.

Martin then started a career as an onsite technician where he serviced many government departments such as the Department of Premier and Royal Brisbane Hospital for about 6 years.

Martin got sick of working as a technician and in 2000 was given the opportunity to combine both his technical knowledge and artistic ability to create a web development division at We Start Computing where he managed and gave art direction for three years. Marty then started up his own business that offered freelance services to people he knew in the online industry (and still does). He then moved into a marketing firm called MetamorFX where he became the Senior designer / Developer / Art Director for approx three years.

Having always wanted to work in the UK. He then packed his bags, said his farewells and made for London where he has been working with companies such as Gizmondo Europe, BBC & WDMP Communications for about three and a half years.
